"**Five stars. My son has stopped calling me at midnight to complain.** The mattress this replaced was a vinyl-wrapped slab slept on by 400 consecutive 18-year-olds since the Carter administration. It has the give of a laminate countertop. Housing calls it "extra long twin." I call it a gymnastics mat with commitment issues. Enter this topper. Unrolled it, waited a few hours while it inflated like a patient soufflé, and watched the bed go from *institutional* to *arguably furniture*. My kid laid down, made a noise I hadn't heard since he was a toddler getting into a warm car, and said "oh." Just "oh." That's the whole review. The rest is padding. Two weeks in: no flattening, no foam smell, and his roommate has begun making unsettling eye contact with it. Sleeps cool enough that a dorm with one window and the ventilation philosophy of a bread box hasn't been an issue. Worth every penny. Would ship to campus again."

It does what I got

"It does what I got it to do, which is to help me sleep on my side more comfortably, to help improve my sleep apnea. It's not quite as supportive as I would like for my back, but not majorly uncomfortable."

I was very disappointed in

"I was very disappointed in the actual dimensions. The width was correct, but the length of this regular twin topper was 4 inches shorter than advertised size. So I'm wondering if I purchased a twin XL, and it was 4 inches short, then it would closer to matching my existing mattress"
