Brooklyn Bedding Employee Spotlight: Chuck Madler, VP of Customer Success
Welcome to our latest Brooklyn Bedding Employee Spotlight! We are excited to highlight the women and men who work hard behind the scenes in order to bring you high-quality mattresses and sleep accessories—shipped free to your front door!

Meet Chuck Madler, our Vice President of Customer Success.

One of Brooklyn Bedding’s most tenured employees, Chuck started working with our company 15 years ago as a delivery driver. Since then, he’s learned the ins and outs of the mattress industry by working his way through our many departments, including sales, retail, customer service, accounting, and human resources.
Today, he leads the Customer Success team—ensuring a healthy and long-lasting partnership with our wholesale associates.

Tell us about what you do in your role at Brooklyn Bedding:

I work with our wholesale partners and ensure that they are in an ideal position to succeed. This means that my team handles the needs of our wholesale customers during new product launches, updates, or any other changes. We work hard to help their business grow and become successful.
My team also works hard to build strong relationships with new customers. We help them reengineer their products to fit our raw materials or work with them to integrate new systems. Our goal is to make a new partner's life as easy as possible.

What is the best thing about your job?:

Every day offers a new opportunity. There’s always something new and exciting going on when you work with wholesale customers and big marketplaces—and each unique challenge keeps my job interesting.
Also, my team is amazing. They are one of the best aspects of my job. Each team member works well together and works hard to keep everything running smoothly. They are one of the many reasons I love to come to work.

What is your favorite perk about working at Brooklyn Bedding?:

The golf simulator in our brand-new facility—but, the best perk ultimately is the culture and freedom Brooklyn Bedding offers. We work hard and never have to worry about being micromanaged. We all know what our job is, and we get it done.

How would you describe the Brooklyn Bedding culture in three words?:

Fun, cooperative, entrepreneurial.

What do you appreciate the most about working at Brooklyn Bedding?:

The freedom to make decisions and the encouragement from leadership to try something new.
If we have an idea, we are encouraged to put a plan together and jump into action. If it doesn’t work, we don’t stress about it. We use it as a teaching moment and learn from our mistakes. It’s a very supportive and trusting environment.
