"I got this mattress for my elderly mother she's 86 and she absolutely loves the mattress she says it supports her in every way. She sleeps on her side and back and she has no problem doing so. She says she wishes she had this mattress years ago. She already told some of her friends about it and I think a couple of them are very interested in getting 1 for themselves. Great product especially for older people who spend alot of time in bed."
"This mattress is a soft, shapeless, blob that completely sinks in wherever you lay on it. My wife's back pain has increased dramatically since we bought it, even thoiugh we actually had bought it to help her with that. It is not "plank"-like in any way whatsoever, but is one of the least supportive mattresses I have ever encountered."

"It’s a very solid mattress. I’m a 260 pound man with a pelvic tilt and it supports my back a lot. The first couple days were a little rough but it settles in quickly. It is very cooling which is important for us bigger men. The cooling was like night and day. Worth the money. It’s a little bigger than a standard queen so be mindful of the bed frame you put under it. It sits right on the edge of the bed frame. Yet, I got a cheap a** frame from Walmart."
"I bought a queen in either 2018/19 (I think). I love the firmness. My wife loves the fact that it is less firm once we flip it. If you have sciatica this is a great help. When I needed a new mattress for one our full size beds, didn’t even hesitate to order one from Plank. As far as I’m concerned. It’s the only mattress I will ever buy. I guess you can say I’m a “Planky”!"
"We have only been sleeping on our Plank Firm Luxe for about a week. The only side we have tried is the ultra firm side. I don’t see how the firm side could possibly be any more comfortable, but we will see. We are extremely pleased and hope it will give durable service for many years."
"Have had it for about a month now and really like it. It is very firm. We tried it on the most firm side the first night, but had to flip it to the less firm side after. No sagging or weakness after a month. So far, we really like it. We bought and returned the dream cloud and Awara before we found this one."
"This is the first bed that is firm enough for me that I’ve found in ages. I bought it without the gel layer but can see why you might want that. It is a hot mattress. I deliberately chose a non pillow top because they get soft so fast and that hurts my back. I add an egg crate topper which softens the firmness a little but which can be replaced at low cost whenever it starts to soften too much. I think the double sides with different firmness is brilliant. I gave it four stars only because even with the egg crate foam which definitely cools it, this is a hot bed. I am a chilly sleeper so it’s weird to be warm enough, but I think this could bother many people. The cooling gel foam is a good idea for most."
"I think I've finally found THE mattress. 've been searching for about three years and I've tried 10+ mattresses to the point that everyone I know makes fun of me. I'm a side-sleeper, and my partner is a back sleeper, and we love the firm side of The Plank mattress, with a two-inch memory foam topper. The firm mattress is a perfect, supportive base and the topper helps to keep a soft surface during the break-in period. It's only been about two weeks with the mattress so I'm hoping after 1-3 months it'll have softened a bit more. After that point I'm hoping to change my review to "Great. ""
