What type of foundation works best for this mattress?

Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 5" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. If you need a foundation for your new mattress, check out our foundations specifically designed for Brooklyn Bedding mattresses here.

What is the 120-night comfort trial?

If during your 120-night sleep trial (which begins once you receive your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return. 

Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.

Customers are able to make use of this 120-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.

Please note: there is a $99 return fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.

Do your mattresses have any safety certifications?

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

"The BB Kids mattress is a great mattress. I got it because of the safety standards for the materials, but I didn't expect it to be so comfortable and so light! You might think that because it is relatively thin and light as compared to some other mattresses that it would be less comfortable, but it is very comfortable. It is more comfortable than the higher-end thicker and heavier mattress it is replacing. It is so easy to change the sheets, it is ideal in a loft or bunk bed because it is easy to lift up and it is not too thick. Even an adult can lay on it and it is comfortable. This is a mattress my daughter will be comfortable on for a long time and I am comfortable with the safety of her environment! PLUS great customer service."

Got the BB kids bed

"Got the BB kids bed for my 2 year old, since her crib was starting to look way too cramped for her. She's loves her new bed, and she sleeps wonderfully throughout the night. Obviously my 2 year old doesn't have the vocabulary just yet to give me a full breakdown of what she likes about the new sleeping arrangement. Not only is it a new mattress, but it's a new frame that she can climb in and out on her own now, and the twin size is much larger than her old crib mattress. She's been very positive on the new setup, so I feel confident that there's no issues with the new mattress. From my point of view, the mattress was a good price (we bought during the Memorial Day discounts), it arrived quickly, was very easy to get set up and installed on the wooden frame we bought.
