Meet Marissa Roge, Director of Operations at Brooklyn Bedding. For nearly two years, Marissa has been the guiding light to the supply chain and operations team. Her expertise, commitment, and passion for the brand ensure that each product manufactured in Brooklyn Bedding’s state-of-the art Dream Factory arrives in the right place at the right time. Marissa is an integral part of the product development team and helps create new and innovative products for Brooklyn Bedding’s customers. Learn more about Marissa below:
Tell us about what you do in your role at Brooklyn Bedding:
We make sure we have the right product in the right place at the right time for the right price. We work to maximize value through supply planning, transportation analytics, supplier relationships, cost-saving initiatives, and new product introduction.
What is the best thing about your job?:
I love that no two days are the same. We are constantly problem-solving and evolving to meet the needs of the business and the customer. Each day offers a new challenge so I’m always learning, growing, and understanding the impact our work has on the overall business.
What is your favorite perk about working at Brooklyn Bedding?:
The people! In my experience, it isn't common to have close working relationships with colleagues across all facets and levels of the business. The knowledge-sharing and collaboration allows me to grow and better understand the big picture. No one takes themselves too seriously, and we have fun.
How would you describe the Brooklyn Bedding culture in three words?:
Collaborative, engaging, humble.
What do you appreciate the most about working at Brooklyn Bedding?:
The entrepreneurial spirit. The working environment at Brooklyn Bedding offers an opportunity to innovate and take risks, and then iterate on the learnings. I am inspired to pitch ideas that are exciting and new, and challenge the status quo.

Any bucket list goals you can share?:
I love to cook, so a lot of my bucket list items revolve around food and travel. For example, learning to make pasta in Italy or chocolate in Switzerland. Currently, my husband and I are working on catching a game in every MLB stadium – we're 1/3 of the way through. One of my other passions is weightlifting and I have some numbers I'd love to be able to hit someday.
