Yes, the high rise platform should work for all types of mattresses, including all-foam and innerspring mattresses.

Can I use a box spring on top of the high rise platform?

This comes down to personal preference. While it is certainly possible to use a box spring on top of the High Rise Platform, the platform can support either a mattress on its own or a mattress with a box spring.

How tall are the foundations? How much storage space is available?

Our foundations are available in a selection of varying heights. Please see our chart below for the foundation height options and their corresponding clearance spaces.

Does your trial period include accessories?

Our 120-night trial applies to mattresses only. Sheets, mattress protectors, pillows and foundations can be returned 30 days after the date of delivery for a full refund. Should you need to return sheets, mattress protectors, pillows, or foundations, we ask that you package the merchandise and contact us with package dimensions so that we can email you a prepaid shipping label. We then ask that the merchandise be shipped back to our facility at no charge to you. All sales on adjustable bases are final and non-refundable.

The high rise platform was

"The high rise platform was quite honestly terrible. It was made of cheap metal which bent easily and squeaked horribly. The Metal brackets were poorly manufactured and didn't hold the legs in place. It moved very easily when moving about the bed and sagged horribly in multiple places due to the metal slats coming off their welding. I had to get it initially replaced because of it being delivered in horrible condition. The second set I received was slightly better but still had lots of dings and dents in the metal that I had to push back into place. After nearly a month or 2 of use, I had to get rid of it and buy a more firm platform bed frame made of wood for a cheaper price than the high rise platform AND it is extremely sturdy and quiet. I would never make a purchase for this type of platform again."

it is solid, and seemed

"it is solid, and seemed very durable. The one problem i have is that I move around a lot when I sleep and this seems to slowly loosen the provided wingnuts that hod the support arms, then the bed rocks back and forth a bit. It is still sturdy and doesn't collapse, but it moves back and forth. Luckily it does not squeak or make much sound as if it moves. So I give it a 4 star for being worth its price 100%n"

Skinny Legs Jolt

"This bedframe is a total fail. Both myself and my boyfriend have made numerous attempts to stop this bedframe from jolting with every slight move. We have unassembled and reassembled countless times to try to fix or adjust the legs to stop from wobbling. But the truth of the matter is these legs on this tall frame are too thin for a mattress meant for heavier people."

I do not recommend

"Three screws/wingnuts were missing when the platformed arrived. I sent a message requesting replacements but none were sent. I put the platform together without the spacers so we could use it. However, the support arms that are held by the screws/wingnuts, can come off the screws easily. We had to move the bed one evening, and during the night, the platform collapsed. Some of the support arms came off the screws and one penetrated the bottom of our brand new mattress, creating a large hole. I wish I had returned the platform without using it."

This is by far the

"This is by far the worst frame I've ever dealt with. I'm only 125 lb and it squeaks sooooo much just when I'm getting into it. It's awful. I've placed padding below it, bought additional bolts, tightened them like crazy, used WD-40 on the joints, it's still SO squeaky. I've always had metal bed frames, so I'm baffled at how this one can be so much worse. I don't know what to do. It's awful."

So Far So Good

"PROS: 1. Height is good after adding mattress 2. Room underneath for storage 3. Metal seems tough and long lasting 4. Price is fairly reasonable 5. Sleeping on it was pretty good CONS: 1. A few of the center holes didn't quite line up with each other. 2. Skinny legs 3. The metal construction can destroy the underside of a mattress. 4. Screws holding it together will need re-tightening as they have a tendency to loosen. 5. It does make a tiny bit of noise, but tolerable. I plan to move it to my guestroom in the future and order another platform style."

"It doesn't fit the split California King mattresses out to the edges. There is about 2 to 3 inches overhanging the bed frame."

Sturdy right now, but nuts keep loosening

"Some of the smaller bars are bending already on both sides, and the nuts keep loosening so we have to retighten them every few days or the bed collapses. Worried about long-term use. The reason we selected this frame was because it's supposed to work for up to 1500lbs, and us together is 600lbs (350 on one side and 250 on other). Time will tell if it holds up. It is very comfy, but again worried about durability."

Terrible foundation

"The high-rise foundation is the worst base I’ve ever bought. It is cheap and not made well. I have two. The queen size is fine, but the king had problems with from the start. In the middle of the night last night it fell apart and we are now holding it together with zip ties."

Broken bed

"Th stand broke, after three months of use. I have bought stands before from Titan and they have been this metal and great. This stand was significantly thinner, noisier and less sturdy. The final straw as the stand breaking, metal in corner disconnected form bed frame."

What is the distance between the slats for a King size, top to bottom and side to side? I have a Brooklyn Signature and need to know this will be sufficient to not void the warranty.
Hello The high rise platform has vertical slats that are approximately 4&quot; apart and horizontal slats that are approximately 5&quot; apart. Since there are both horizontal and vertical slats, it provides excellent support for mattresses. Thank you
