The CopperFlex® Essential mattress is constructed with a top layer of copper-infused memory foam, which delivers added cooling. In addition, open cell technology in each foam layer provides increased airflow and breathability.

What is the height of the CopperFlex® Essential?

The CopperFlex® Essential mattress is available in five different heights (6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch, and 14 inch). An illustration of the mattress with details for each layer is found on the product page, along with a full product description.

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

Where is this product made?

This product is made in America using foreign and domestic components.

How much weight will the mattress support?

All Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to support up to 950 pounds. If you or your sleep partner weigh more than 300 pounds—and prefer more substantial support—you can check out the Titan Plus Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding here.

What is the firmness level on the CopperFlex® Essential?

The CopperFlex® Essential mattress is designed with variable features, including height, that allow you to choose your comfort and firmness levels as well as desired profile. The 6” and 8” mattresses are respectively firm and firm-medium, recommended only for those who desire a more supportive sleep experience—such as stomach or back sleepers—or have bed profile limitations such as bunkbeds. The 10” version is a medium-firm, suited for those who are combination back, stomach and side sleepers. If you’re an adult, looking for added comfort, contouring and support, the 12” and 14” versions are recommended.

What type of foundation works best for this mattress?

Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 5" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. If you need a foundation for your new mattress, check out our foundations specifically designed for Brooklyn Bedding mattresses here.

How does the 365-night trial period work?

If during your 365-night sleep trial (which begins once you receive your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return.

Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.

Customers are able to make use of this 365-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.

We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.

Please contact us at support@brooklynbedding.com with “Return Request” in the subject line, and we will respond quickly to process your request.

Please Note: No returns or exchanges will be offered on clearance items.

Do your mattresses have any safety certifications?

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

Reviews

This bed is probably the

"This bed is probably the most comfy bed ever for being a cheaper one of theirs. Our old RV mattress if you even want to call it that was so thin and terrible. Not sure why we didn't replace it sooner. I had the best nights sleep on it. Now I am going to purchase a bed for our home."

— Orasa R. (5/5)

Incredibly comfortable and really reasonably

"Incredibly comfortable and really reasonably priced mattress, particularly for such a low profile. We only had 8" to work with and this mattress is excellent. Firm enough but not too much, great support for my husband and me. High quality and we feel we made a great investment."

— Lori C. (5/5)

Good price and we'll constructed

"Good price and we'll constructed but a little softer than described for two adults. We get that fallen in a pit feeling part way through the night."

— Greg L. (3/5)

The mattress is too soft,

"The mattress is too soft, doesn’t hold up to edge sitting. The copper does not help me hold my body heat. Not sleeping well, waking up at night feeling cold, even with blankets over me. My husband and I roll to the center where we sink in."

— Anita C. (2/5)

After sleeping on the mattress

"After sleeping on the mattress that was provided for my camper, I decided to take a chance and purchase a real mattress. I just started using it this past weekend and was amazed at how close it felt to being at home. It was very comfortable, and I had no pain when I woke up."
