What is the difference between the memory foam model and the hybrid model?

The main difference is in their construction. The memory foam model is entirely made up of layers of high-quality foams, offering a conforming feel that relieves pressure points. The hybrid model combines high-quality foams with a supportive coil system, providing targeted support and enhanced pressure relief. Many sleepers find that the hybrid offers better pain relief, especially for the back, hips, and shoulders. Your choice will depend on your personal comfort and support preferences.

How much weight will the mattress support?

All Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to support up to 950 pounds. If you or your sleep partner weigh more than 300 pounds—and prefer more substantial support—you can check out the Titan Plus Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding here.

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

What type of foundation works best for this mattress?

Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 5" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. If you need a foundation for your new mattress, check out our foundations specifically designed for Brooklyn Bedding mattresses here.

How does the 120-night trial period work?

If during your 120-night sleep trial (which begins once you receive your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return. 

Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.

Customers are able to make use of this 120-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.

Please note: there is a $99 return fee for all mattress returns to cover the cost of picking up your mattress. We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.

Do your mattresses have any safety certifications?

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

My sheets from my old mattress doesn't fit the copper flex properly (corner pockets to deep). Sheets look loose because the mattress is not as thick as my old mattress. I love this bed! I

"I love this bed! I am a side/stomach sleeper around 200 pounds. With lupus and kidney disease. This bed is everything! it is firm enough for my back but also seoft enough for the trigger points from my lupus. The side edges don't sink! the bed sleeps at a comfortable temperature- literally the first time I have slept through the night in like 4 years! i've been on it for a month and I love it! all I need now is to find a pillow that works! oh- the first week- I had muscle soreness (but different than back pain) as my body/ muscles adjusted to sleeping in correct alignment! "This is our 3rd Brooklyn mattress in past 10 years and have been pleased with the quality and comfort of all three hybrids we have purchased. We always find them a bit firm when we get a new one, but add toppers to help with the break in period, and then they are quite comfortable.
