What is the difference between the memory foam model and the hybrid model?

The main difference is in their construction. The memory foam model is entirely made up of layers of high-quality foams, offering a conforming feel that relieves pressure points. The hybrid model combines high-quality foams with a supportive coil system, providing targeted support and enhanced pressure relief. Many sleepers find that the hybrid offers better pain relief, especially for the back, hips, and shoulders. Your choice will depend on your personal comfort and support preferences.

How much weight will the mattress support?

All Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to support up to 950 pounds. If you or your sleep partner weigh more than 300 pounds—and prefer more substantial support—you can check out the Titan Plus Mattress by Brooklyn Bedding here.

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

What type of foundation works best for this mattress?

Brooklyn Bedding mattresses are designed to be used on foundations with solid support with minimal to no flex. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 5" apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. If you need a foundation for your new mattress, check out our foundations specifically designed for Brooklyn Bedding mattresses here.

How does the 365-night trial period work?

If during your 365-night sleep trial (which begins once you receive your new mattress), you decide that you are not completely happy with your mattress and wish to return it, we will help dispose of your mattress and help you begin your return. 

Please allow 30 days to laps from the date of delivery before beginning the return process.

Customers are able to make use of this 365-night comfort trial on one occasion. The second occasion is not eligible for a return.

We do our very best to donate, recycle, or otherwise repurpose all returned mattresses.

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

"I am happy with the mattress thus far but do wish it was slightly more firm. I also don't know how many cooling properties it actually. Perhaps my wife and I just sleep warm but it seems as though that feature may be overstated. I personally don't love the pillow top but my wife doesn't mind it. Her hip and shoulder pain have subsided since we moved to this bed and I have had less hip and shoulder strain also, therefore we're happy with the purchase."

"The mattress has been great, but fair warning, let it AIR OUT for about 4 days before sleeping on it. We didn’t, and the off-gassing smells woke me up in the middle of the night fully spinning, dizzy, nauseous…but the actual mattress has been wonderful after that. "I absolutely LOVE this mattress. I have always been a hot sleeper, and it's only getting worse with age. I used to wake up drenched in sweat despite having my room at 65 degrees, a ceiling fan on, and proper breathable sheets. I now sleep through the night and stay dry. When I roll over, there are no hot spots on the mattress. As a side and back sleeper, the mattress itself is also very comfortable and supportive. I don't wake up with aches and pains anymore. 12/10 recommend this mattress - it's AMAZING!"
