Frequently Asked Questions

What cooling features are available in the Titan Plus Elite?

The Titan Elite is constructed with several cooling features. First, the GlacioTex+ Cooling Cover sewn into the top layer of the mattress wicks away heat and keeps you at an ideal temperature all night long. Second, the Titan Elite features an infusion of TitaniumGel™ in the TitanFlex™ foam layer, contributing significantly to a cooler night’s sleep. Third, the coil systems used in the construction of hybrid mattresses always allow for greater airflow than all-foam mattresses.

How much does the mattress weigh and what are its dimensions?

The weight of the mattress and its dimensions vary by selection. The Titan Elite weighs between 80-150 pounds. Dimensions for mattress sizes can be found in the graphic here:

Do your mattresses have any safety certifications?

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

Where is this product made?

This product is made in America using foreign and domestic components.

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

Reviews

Titan Elite is great!

"Solid mattress. It is firm enough and supportive. The cooling is great. We had a Saatva Classic mattress for 4 yrs and it did not hold up well and wasn't firm or supportive like the Titan Elite. My wife was waking up every morning with back pain on our old mattress. Her back pain stopped after sleeping on the Titan Elite for a week. I Highly recommend this mattress."

— Michael M. (5/5)

First new mattress in a

"First new mattress in a number of years and I couldn't be more pleased. It hasn't been 120 days yet but I don't see us returning it. Quite comfortable and the only thing I wish it did better is movement, my wife moves around while she sleeps and it will eventually wake me up but when she settles down I go right back to sleep."

— William M. (5/5)

So far, the mattresses feel

"So far, the mattresses feel GREAT. The important thing is that they stay this way. The adjustable basses are also, GREAT. I like the flexibility they add for comfortable sleeping positions. I will follow up with a review after a few months of use."

— JERALD D. (5/5)

No complaints

"Very pleased with this mattress. I was afraid it would not be firm enough or too firm but neither is the case. I only wish I got a larger one in hindsight and would absolutely purchase another one if needed."

— Stanley B. (5/5)

Not quite as firm as expected.

"While it appears to be a very good mattress I was surprised that it wasn't a bit more firm. It is comfortable for me but the sides definitely sink way low when sitting on the edge. One great thing for me is I no longer wake up with back pain."

— Toni K. (4/5)

Absolutely love everything about this

"Absolutely love everything about this mattress. Super heavy and a handful moving the mattress from the box to the bedframe. Once I got it setup, it was awesome. Highly recommend it for big men, or women. Worth every penny."

— Kevin P. (5/5)

Very well made - ready to use same day!

"Very impressed with the quality of this mattress, the cooling top layer…, and it is heavy! We’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and are still getting used to the difference in firmness compared to our unsupportive mattress, but I have a feeling we’re going to really love this mattress for a very long time!"

— Melissa D. (5/5)

It took me a week

"It took me a week to get used of it. Since then I have gotten better sleep my wife was sleeping better immediately! The cool feeling for the mattress is lackluster it lasts a few seconds and that is it. I do find i dont sweat as much in the night so maybe that is the real effort from the cooling material. Overall I am pleased with the purchase!"

— Andrew H. (5/5)

Great support and comfort

"This mattress provides support and comfort better than the temperpedic mattress I had. It is cooler and I found I am no longer waking up with back pain. Being full sized and primarily a side sleeper with back and joint issues has made it difficult to find a good supportive mattress but so far, this has been great. It was a good decision to purchase this."

— Linda F. (5/5)

37, 6', 315lbs Bed felt

"37, 6', 315lbs Bed felt great since night one. It's been over 90 degrees during the day since I got it so it's difficult to really notice any cooling from the mattress but not really fair to expect much there. I sleep primarily on my back to start but switch to my side commonly in the night. Every position has been comfortable."

— Matthew A. (5/5)
