"Prices if very good quality mattresses our outrageous! We have a 9 year old very firm great quality mattress that is still in fantastic shape. It has been covered & has had different memory foam pads on it for many years. The mattress has finally “breaking in” but still too firm for hip joints when side sleeping. We wanted to purchase a long lasting deep springy & cushiony topper. The 3” latex talalay fit the bill. The time between production & delivery was a little long, but the pad was worth it. This is not a cheap buy, but it will outlast and keep its shape for much longer than most memory foam toppers. "Comfortable but the smell is strong and won't go away for weeks. The smell rubs off on everything it touches and airing it out is taking forever. Also, when we washed the organic cotton cover the black color on the bottom stained the cover and completely washed out, it went from black to light gray and the white cover became grayish.
