Frequently Asked Questions

What cooling features are available in the Titan Plus Elite?

The Titan Elite is constructed with several cooling features. First, the GlacioTex+ Cooling Cover sewn into the top layer of the mattress wicks away heat and keeps you at an ideal temperature all night long. Second, the Titan Elite features an infusion of TitaniumGel™ in the TitanFlex™ foam layer, contributing significantly to a cooler night’s sleep. Third, the coil systems used in the construction of hybrid mattresses always allow for greater airflow than all-foam mattresses.

How much does the mattress weigh and what are its dimensions?

The weight of the mattress and its dimensions vary by selection. The Titan Elite weighs between 80-150 pounds. Dimensions for mattress sizes can be found in the graphic here:

How much weight will the mattress support?

The Titan Plus Elite mattress is designed to support up to 1,200 pounds. If you think you may need a firmer sleep experience, or both you and your sleep partner are plus-size, you might consider the Titan Plus mattress by Brooklyn Bedding, which offers a true firm sleep experience.

Do your mattresses have any safety certifications?

Every Brooklyn Bedding mattress is assembled in our Arizona facility, allowing us to ensure the highest quality every single time. Our mattresses are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and made with CertiPUR-US certified foams, which guarantees they are made without any harmful chemicals including ozone depleters, PBDE flame retardants, mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde, and have extremely low impact on indoor air quality.

Where is this product made?

This product is made in America using foreign and domestic components.

Are your mattresses flippable?

Most Brooklyn Bedding mattresses should be rotated every 6 to 8 months but never flipped (or inverted). Our mattresses are designed with comfort layers on top and support layers on bottom, including individually encased coils in hybrid models. We also use higher quality materials that last much longer than traditional mattresses. The exceptions to the “no flip” rule are the Plank Firm and Plank Firm Luxe mattresses by Brooklyn Bedding. These mattresses are designed with varying firmness levels on either side of the mattress and can be flipped to customize your sleep experience.

Reviews

This mattress is awesome!

"We got the Elite King and it is awesome! No pressure points for me or hubs and I wake up not in pain! We got our mattress delivered a few days before a storm came through and damaged our master bedroom and mattress (who knew a tree could do that much damage!) Titan Customer Service was quick to respond and worked with us to get a replacement out ASAP. The mattress, and Customer service, are excellent and I highly recommend this mattress and this company!"

— Dorothy E. (5/5)

To be fair I’m still

"To be fair I’m still adjusting to the new feel of this mattress. I bought it based on the description and details especially the amount of coils for great support it should provide. The first night disappointing for only got 3 hrs sleep and the next night 4. It’s a very different texture than a standard mattress and I’d be willing to submit an update in a few months."

— Kathleen R. (3/5)

This mattress has been a

"This mattress has been a huge improvement from my former purple mattress, which had significant construction problems. I have found the support of this mattress to be fantastic and for it to be much more comfortable for side sleeping, and my partner has told me that it's provided much more comfort for them as well."

— Chandler P. (5/5)

Titan Plus Elite Mattress honest review

"Center of mattress is firm but sides are plush. When you sit on the edge of the mattress the side almost completely flattens and you are unable to sit and slide off the bed. It’s hard to sit and put socks on or lotion. For the price of the bed, we expected better quality."

— anabel a. (2/5)

Titan Elite is great!

"Solid mattress. It is firm enough and supportive. The cooling is great. We had a Saatva Classic mattress for 4 yrs and it did not hold up well and wasn't firm or supportive like the Titan Elite. My wife was waking up every morning with back pain on our old mattress. Her back pain stopped after sleeping on the Titan Elite for a week. I Highly recommend this mattress."

— Michael M. (5/5)

Great mattress but too firm for someone with joint pain

"I don't want to give this mattress a low score because it is a very nice mattress, but I have hip joint pain, so unfortunately its not working out well for me and I will most likely be returning it......but if you don't have joint pain, then I would recommend this."

— Erin *. (5/5)

Great Sleep

"Bought the mattress and mattress cover. They are both great. The cover fits perfectly. The mattress is very comfortable to sleep on."

— Bryan G. (5/5)

First new mattress in a

"First new mattress in a number of years and I couldn't be more pleased. It hasn't been 120 days yet but I don't see us returning it. Quite comfortable and the only thing I wish it did better is movement, my wife moves around while she sleeps and it will eventually wake me up but when she settles down I go right back to sleep."

— William M. (5/5)

Goldilocks

"This mattress isn't too soft or too hard. It is just right. It never gets hot during sleep. My back and hip pain are minimal now that I've been sleeping on the Titan mattress."

— Jen L. (5/5)

So far, the mattresses feel

"So far, the mattresses feel GREAT. The important thing is that they stay this way. The adjustable basses are also, GREAT. I like the flexibility they add for comfortable sleeping positions. I will follow up with a review after a few months of use."

— JERALD D. (5/5)
